Not sure who said that. But it’s true. Maybe more like time in the bank, ready to spend. A nicely stacked rope is a rope ready for action. In this case ready to rappel. Moving ropes into nice stacks can save you a really time consuming step of coiling and un coiling and is a great place to save time. In this case we just left our tag line stacked in this ledge while we finished the upper pitches of the tower and when we got back down it was waiting ready to rappel. #svelt #alpinist #doyouclimb #
