DSS’ Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) encourages participating child care programs to find fun ways to teach about healthy food. Recently, Head Start programs with the Waccamaw EOC, Inc. in the Pee Dee region held a farmer's market where children "purchased" fresh fruits and vegetables.
