"If our great controllers then choose to go take a second job … that's going to create way more disruption in the airspace." Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said the FAA's decision increase air traffic reductions to 10% is necessary as air traffic controllers call in sick while not receiving pay during the government shutdown.
